We believe whole heartedly that it takes a team of collaborators, cheerleaders, and smarty pants people to push, stretch and challenge us in the BEST of ways. Over the last week you’ve probably heard about this Fitness MD Spring break challenge. If not here’s it is again. The mastermind & fitness guru behind this is Miss Molly Doyle. We love her to pieces. If you’d ever want anyone to kick your butt, it’s her. You know how hair dressers are like the magic vault? You can tell them anything and they usually have the best and most honest advice? Well, that’s Molly and we thought you must meet her…
Where are you from? Where do you live?
I was born and raised in Minnesota and am proud of it! I grew up about an hour south of the Twin Cities, in Faribault, but currently live in St. Paul with my husband, George; I just love St. Paul! Its been “home” to me since I met George 6 years ago and if we’re lucky, it’ll always be home for us.
Since I do a lot of moving/working out/sweating/teaching day to day, my favorite pass time is lounging on the couch with a good reality show on TV in the background and my computer on my lap surfing the latest fashion or workout blogs, or on pinterest dreaming new projects for our new house …add a glass of wine in my hand and I’m a very happy lady!
Katie Jasper’s Monday night Real Ryder class. Does that count? If I’m not allowed to have a workout class be my guilty pleasure I’ll leave you with these three things, with no explanations added! Chipotle, Justin Timberlake and the Pandora Station P. Diddy and the Bad Boy Family (again, no explanations!)
Favorite band? Current favorite song?
I, myself, love working out to music that’s a little rough around the edges, like Drake. But, right now I’m ob-sessed with Pink (Just give me a reason), Beyonce (End of Time) and Justin Timberlake (Pusher Love Girl)
This is a constant request for me to bring to any party or gathering I go to. I also eat this as a salad or to top some chicken with.

1 can of each:
Petite Diced Tomatoes
Jalapenos (liquid, too!)
1/2 white onion diced

What’s your favorite product in your makeup bag?
Sephora – Primal Instincs Eyeshadow Palette. I love this because I sweat a lot throughout my day, I don’t wear a lot of foundation so I try and do a little something more with my eyes and the palette is great! I’m going to add one more item, because I do love it and that’s Chanel Mascara in Noir (you’d never know my lack of eye lashes with this magic wand!)
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Oh boy – tough one. My aunt told me once to always “speak your truth.” Whatever is on your heart or your mind, say it. This may not go for everyone, but for me, it’s a lifesaver. If I don’t get it out, it eats away at me. I feel 10 lbs lighter when I say what I need to say. And as John Mayor once said, “It’s better to say too much, than to never say what you need to say.”
I went on a dream vacation in January, my honeymoon to Montego Bay Jamaica! It was magical…I was with my two loves of my life; my husband and fitness. I taught at the resort we stayed at and it was the best experience! Although… I have always dreamed of renting an RV with our future big family and going across our country to all of the hot spots. Learning all about the culture and history of America. I can’t wait!
Did you have a new year’s resolution?
My resolution this year was to take care of myself and to learn more. I’ve had some lingering injuries that I’ve vowed to get taken care of. I am also focusing my energy on learning and reading about one area of the body each month. This month, I learned all about the arm from the shoulder down to the wrist. Random, but so many clients have aches and pains and I want to be more knowledgable about these things! It’s amazing how much you forget when you’re out of college only a few years!
What got you interested in nutrition?
Well, my profession really got me intersted in nutrition. I’ve come to realize that exercise can only get you so far in being “healthy.” What you put into your body is your fuel. It keeps me strong, healthy and nourished for my long days of exercising. Katie is my go-to gal for all things nutrition. You can catch me sending her picture messages of food with the words “thoughts on this?” attached often!
